Who Performance Rehab Is Designed For

I work with people whose orthopedic issues never fully resolved with traditional care — and with desk-driven professionals who want to stay at the top of their game at work, in training, and in life.

This isn’t traditional physical therapy.

Performance rehab is designed for people who train hard, work long hours, and refuse to “rest and wait” their way out of pain.

I work with professionals who want to stay strong, keep lifting, and build bodies that hold up under real-world demands — not chase short-term pain relief.

Performance Rehab for Desk Athletes

Most persistent pain isn’t the result of a single injury.
It’s the result of long hours at a desk combined with expectations to keep training, lifting, and performing.

Desk athletes ask their bodies to tolerate sustained sitting, high cognitive load, and inconsistent recovery — then layer training on top of it. Over time, that mismatch shows up as recurring neck, shoulder, and spine pain that never fully resolves.

The issue isn’t that you need more rest.
It’s that your body hasn’t been prepared to handle the demands you’re placing on it.

Rest-only care may reduce symptoms temporarily, but it rarely changes capacity. Once work and training resume, the same patterns return — and so does the pain.

Performance rehab focuses on rebuilding tolerance to real-world demands so pain stops dictating how you live and train.

Rehab That Bridges Desk Work and Training

Desk athletes don’t have separate “work bodies” and “training bodies.”
They have one system responding to cumulative stress.

Performance rehab treats posture, movement mechanics, strength, recovery, and workload as part of the same equation. Care integrates:

  • Joint control and movement quality

  • Progressive strength and intelligent loading

  • Workday tolerance and positional endurance

  • Recovery strategies that fit real schedules

Equally important, I help you understand what your symptoms mean, how your body is responding to stress, and why certain movements or positions feel threatening. When the picture becomes clear, fear drops — and progress accelerates.

The goal isn’t to avoid stress.
It’s to build capacity for it.

Why Performance-Focused Clients Choose to Work With Me

  • One provider, every session
No handoffs. No diluted care. You work directly with me.

  • Strength-informed rehab
Loading isn’t avoided — it’s used intentionally to rebuild confidence and resilience.

  • Clarity, not confusion
You understand what’s happening, why it’s happening, and how we’re responding — so decisions aren’t driven by uncertainty.

  • Durability over short-term relief
The objective is a body that holds up under demanding workdays and continued training, not temporary symptom control.

This approach is best suited for people who want to participate actively in their recovery and expect long-term results.

Insurance & Reimbursement

Starting your journey to better health and pain relief is simple. Here’s how to get started:

Care is provided on a private, out-of-network basis. I do not bill insurance directly.

This model allows for longer sessions, one-on-one care, and an approach that integrates rehab, training, and long-term performance without insurance-imposed limitations.

A superbill can be provided for those who wish to pursue out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage and reimbursement amounts vary by plan.

How to Get Started

  1. Apply or Schedule a Consult
Share what’s been going on and determine if performance rehab is the right fit.

  2. Comprehensive Evaluation
We assess movement, strength, work demands, training habits, and pain patterns — and clarify what’s driving your symptoms.

  3. Build Capacity for Real Life
Care focuses on restoring confidence, strength, and tolerance so progress holds up beyond therapy.

If you’re ready to move past short-term fixes and understand how to keep your body performing long-term, this approach was built for you.
